Currently there are around 1,000 missionaries in Japan. We celebrate who has come to Japan. Thank God for their willingness to make this sacrifice to come to Japan Pray for them as they faithfully reach out in the areas that God has asked them to serve.
Pray for those missionaries planning and preparing to come. Prepare their hearts and go before them at every level.
Pray for JEMA – Japan Evangelical Missionary Association as they seek to serve missionaries bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to people in Japan. JEMA does this by networking and equipping its members to make disciples for Christ.
It is wonderful that missionaries come to Japan. Yet we want to pray for more native missionaries who are willing to step out, trust God and be part of seeing Japan come to saving knowledge of Jesus. Having native Japanese people making disciples means that missionary work will reach its full potential.
Japanese Christians can be shy and reluctant to share their faith. Ask God to give them boldness to share the Gospel with friends, family and acquaintances. Pray that many will step up boldly and become native missionaries.
We believe that Japan is on the edge of a very real move of God. It is why we are so thankful for your prayers. Pray that Christians in Japan will be ready to receive the harvest. Pray that churches and Christians will joyfully give their hearts and attention to new seekers and help lead them to Christ.
As we pray for renewal, pray that believers may desire a deeper relationship with God and to study the Word more. Pray for mature Christians and church leaders and missionaries will help guide believers closer to Jesus
