Prayer Guide – Week 14 (Feb 17-23)

Scripture: John 17:21 – “That all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”

• Pray that God would break down walls of division among different denominations, traditions, and groups within the Japanese Church.
• Ask the Lord to foster a spirit of humility and cooperation among pastors and church leaders, so they would work together in love and mutual support.
• Pray for churches to focus on their shared mission of spreading the gospel rather than doctrinal differences that cause division.
• Pray that churches in Japan would embrace the unity of the Holy Spirit, demonstrating love and care for one another.
• Ask God to heal any past wounds, misunderstandings, or conflicts among Christian communities in Japan.

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:18 – “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation.”

• Pray for reconciliation among church leaders who may have experienced conflicts in the past, asking God to soften hearts and restore relationships.
• Ask God to help Christians in Japan live as peacemakers, bringing reconciliation within their communities and workplaces.
• Pray for healing in relationships between younger and older generations in the Church, so that wisdom and passion may work together for the glory of God.
• Intercede for reconciliation between the Church and those who may have felt excluded or hurt by Christians in the past.
• Pray that the Japanese Church would model God’s love and grace, leading to greater openness to the gospel in society.

Scripture: Habakkuk 3:2 – “Lord, I have heard of your fame; I stand in awe of your deeds, Lord. Repeat them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.”

• Pray for a mighty move of the Holy Spirit across Japan, awakening hearts to the reality of Christ.
• Ask God to stir up a deep hunger for His Word and a renewed passion for prayer among believers in Japan.
• Pray that Japanese churches would experience revival, where the presence of God transforms lives and communities.
• Intercede for supernatural breakthroughs in evangelism, so that many would come to faith in Jesus.
• Ask God to raise up bold, Spirit-filled leaders who will lead the Japanese Church with wisdom and courage.
• Pray for young people in Japan to encounter Jesus in powerful ways, becoming passionate followers of Christ.
• Ask God to bring revival in rural areas and urban centers alike, so that every part of Japan is touched by His Spirit.
