This week we want to focus on praying for Tokyo.
With a metropolitan area of over 35 million people, Tokyo is the world's largest city. In terms of cultural and economic influence, it is a powerhouse throughout Asia and the world. Despite its lofty position, Tokyo has yet to know its Creator and is desperate for a Savior.
Suicide rates are horrifyingly high as the big city ironically can be the loneliest place. Tokyo is a place of high living standards and wealth, but yet of tragic spiritual poverty. Imagine what God will do through this city when it hears His voice! It very well might be the key to the accomplishment of the Great Commission for this city to be won for Christ.
Please pray for God's Kingdom to come to Tokyo - even the gates of Hell won't stop it. And the amazing thing is that we all get to be a part of it.
Come Lord Jesus!
"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." - Luke 10:2
Thank you so much for your precious prayers of faith! For God’s work of salvation and grace across the nation of Japan.
If we believe that God hears our prayers and that he is answering them even now for his glory, we must faithfully prepare for the work of harvest. Pray that churches and Christians will be ready to joyfully give their hearts and attention to new seekers and help lead them to Christ.
As we pray for renewal, believers may desire a deeper relationship with God, to study the Word more, or need help with patterns of sin or struggles in daily life. Pray for mature Christians and church leaders to help guide believers closer to Jesus.
We wait upon God our Savior with faith and eager expectation!
Pray for revival for Japan…
The needs of the affected areas are gradually changing. Let us pray that the needs of the people in the affected areas will continue to be met and that God's love will be witnessed.
By installing a smartphone app called Echo, you will be able to use various functions that help you pray, such as reminder notifications.
