Prayer Guide – Week 22 (April 08-14)

This week we are praying for the transformation of Japanese society.

Pray for the Kingdom of God to destroy the works of the devil.

Pray that transformation will begin on major high places. Pray that monks will meet with the living God and shrines and temples and the communities surrounding them will shift what and who they are worshiping.

Pray for Politicians to meet Jesus. Pray for Christian politicians like Pastor Kaneko as they speak into people’s lives and seek to pass laws that are consistent with God’s dream is for Japan.

Pray for the Glory of God to fall across Japan- that Christians will be at the forefront of seeking to transform local communities. Pray that Churches will see where the Glory of God is missing and respond to the needs they see around them.

We pray for those in Japan who are shut away in their homes, those who are lonely, those who are homeless, those unemployed and those who are struggling with life at the moment. Pray for those at the edge of suicide that they may hear from You Father and discover a God who loves them and wants to come alongside them.

As we pray for an unprecedented transformation of society, pray that believers may desire a deeper relationship with God, to study the Word more, or need help with patterns of sin or struggles in daily life. Pray for mature Christians and church leaders to help guide believers closer to Jesus.

We wait upon God our Savior with faith and eager expectation that Japanese communities will be transformed.
