Prayer Guide – Week 26 (June 03-09)

An encouragement to pray…

Paul e writes in Ephesians 6:18-20 “ And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people. Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.”

5 times in 3 verses we are encouraged to pray.
He tells to “ Pray without ceasing, on all occasions, in every way.” It is because we are in a spiritual battle and prayer is our number 1 weapon.

We are not to give up praying… Jesus says in Luke 18:1: “Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.”

So let’s not give up in praying for BIG breakthroughs in Japan.

This week we are praying for revival in Japan and for unity amongst Japanese Pastors.

Thanks Father that you love Japanese people. We all long and pray to see breakthroughs in this country as well as to the “ends of the earth.”
May your Word be spoken clearly to Japanese people. Father, please penetrate the barriers around the hearts of Japanese people. May they respond to the call to be part of Your family.

We pray for miracles where people meet you online, at work, in the shopping centers and at churches across Japan.
Many Japanese people feel fatherless. May they discover you as their good Father and come into an intimate relationship with you and become part of the family of God.

Holy Spirit please come with fresh anointing and fresh blessings. May your greatness be obvious to Japanese people.

We know that human effort will not make it happen. We need your Spirit to work in this land more and more. We thank you for what you are going to do. May you be great in Japan.

Finally pray for unity amongst Japanese people. We often hear mature Japanese Christians say that a lack of unity is the number one reason that the Father has held back His blessings on Japan. Please Father may Pastors be more interested in seeking to build the Kingdom above anything else. May there be no competition. May Pastors be intimately connected to the Father

All this we ask in Jesus’ Name
